My first pillow case, y’all!

It sounds a little silly, but you gotta start somewhere, right?! And of course I take an easy task and make it more challenging by doing an invisible zipper! It turned out okay actually, I’m really happy with it. The zipper is a little uneven, but for a first go, it’s not too shabby! I love this material, too (Gypsyland is the manufacturer, can’t recall the style name). Thanks to Pinterest, I found a really easy-to-follow, step-by-step picture tutorial to guide me on my way. It’s on the “Quilting In The Rain” blog, and you can find it here.

Measuring and pinning... And mimosas! It was a Sunday morning, ok?!

Positioning the zipper. This is probably where I should've taken a little extra care in making sure it was straight over the seam. But now I know for next time ;)

And don’t worry: as promised, the fabric wall project will be up in a jiffy! The wall itself is finished, I am just taking my time getting it photo-perfect. But, Get Excited! It looks feakin’ AWESOME! πŸ˜‰
